Monstera is an evergreen vine with thick stems. The young leaves have no heart shape and have broad ovate shapes and deep pendant fissures when grown. There are oval perforations between the veins, and the leaves have long stems and dark green. Buddha flame inflorescence, Buddha flame bud, boat-shaped, blooming in November, light yellow. Monstera is also known as “Penglai Banana” and “Electric Wire Grass”. It is an evergreen climbing leaf viewing plant of the Asteraceae family. Its stems have brown air roots, which are shaped like electric wires, so it is called “Electric Wire Grass”. The leaves are oval, and there are tortoise shell shapes scattered in the shape of tortoise shells between the feathered veins. Its shape is like a tortoise shell pattern and the stems are like bamboo stems, so it is called “Monstera”.
